Marissa Magdaleno started working for us here at Centex Studies in 2016. Before joining us, she had been working at Valley Art Medical Clinic since 2015 as a Medical Assistant. She is currently attending University of Texas Rio Grande Valley where she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. Her research experience now includes Type 2 Diabetes, High Cholesterol, Influenza and Constipation. For fun if she is not working she enjoys going to the gym or spending time with her family.
Noor graduated from the University of Houston in May of 2017 with her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. Before joining us here at Centex, Noor was doing research in biochemistry as well as an office assistant and private math tutor. Noor has also done volunteer work at West Houston Hospital and was a member of the Humanitarian Aid Club at Nazareth High School in Lebanon before moving to the U.S. to further her education. Noor first joined us in September of 2016 as an intern and has since moved on to be a Clinical Research Coordinator. Her research experience now includes Post-Partum Depression, Contraception, Uterine Fibroids, Flu, COPD, Migraine, and much more.
Noor’s greatest asset is her take charge attitude. She has no problem taking on problems and turning them around to be successes, and is always there when we need an extra hand around the office.
Ramya graduated from the Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology with her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology. From there, she moved to the U.S. to further her education at University of Houston Clear Lake, where she received her Master’s degree in Biotechnology in 2016. Before joining us here at Centex, Ramya was a Teaching Assistant at UHCL, where she worked with undergrad students in everyday lab sessions. Ramya first joined us at Centex as an intern and has since became our regulatory coordinator. She handles all regulatory documents at our Houston location. Her research experience now includes Low Back Pain, Osteoarthritis, Type 2 Diabetes, Uterine Fibroids, Contraception, Post-Partum Depression, Flu, Constipation, Migraine and much more.
Ramya’s greaterst asset is her sweet personality and can do, take charge attitude. She had no problem taking over Regulatory and she is always well liked by the new CROs and sponsors that come to see our site.
Kelsey started with us at Centex Studies in October of 2016. Before joining us, she attended South Louisiana Community College in Lafayette where she received her Associates degree in General Studies. From there she went on to work at Lake Area Medical Center, where she performed multiple clerical duties, such as patient demographics, collecting payments, complying with HIPPA regulations and much more. She is currently attending McNeese University pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
Kelsey is currently located at our Lake Charles location where she is the front desk receptionist. Her responsibilities include things like checking in patients, confirming appointments, approving patient stipends, patient demographics, some recruiting, and much more. She currently does not have any research experience, but she is certified in Good Clinical Practice.
Kelsey’s hobbies include spending time with her family and her three dogs. Her best asset is that she is a hard worker and she loves to learn. She always tries to add value to everything she does.
Amber started here with Centex Studies in October of 2016. Before joining us, Amber attended The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she graduated in 2015, with her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science. There, she worked for the university as a research assistant focusing mainly on exercise physiology parameters of research. She was also a store manager at General Nutrition Center where she found her love of supplements. She is currently still attending University, pursuing her Master’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science.
Amber is currently located at our Lake Charles location, where she is the lead clinical research coordinator for multiple trials. Her research experience includes her University work in exercise physiology along with Type 2 Diabetes and Constipation. Along with her Bachelor’s degree and her Master’s degree in progress, Amber is also certified in Good Clinical Practice, first aid and CPR.
Amber’s hobbies include spending time with her husband and their families, as well as watching college football and basketball. Her greatest asset is that she loves to learn. She also performs very well under pressure.
