Dr. Anthony Adeosun is a Primary Care Physician located in the Lake Charles area. Dr. Adeosun received his MBBS from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria then his Master of Public Health from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Following that, he moved to the U.S. to complete his Residency in Pediatrics at Howard University Hospital, then his Residency in Family Medicine at the University of Alabama/Selma Family Practice. Dr. Adeosun currently has his own private practice, New Haven Family Medicine and began working with us here at Centex Studies in 2016. In his past, he has done a lot of work helping with underprivileged patients and he now has a real passion for research and helping people find new medications that work for them. His research experience now includes things like Osteoarthritis, Low Back Pain, Type 2 Diabetes, Low Testosterone, Constipation and much more. Dr. Adeosun’s passion for helping people is very inspiring and we really look forward to working with him on more trials to come.
Lake Charles Team
Dr. Stanley Kordisch is an OB/GYN located in the Lake Charles area. Dr. Kordisch completed his undergraduate work at University of Louisiana. From there, he went on to get his graduate degree from the Fielding Graduate Institute of Santa Barbara, California. He then went on to attend Louisiana State University to complete his Doctorate of Medicine and Residency requirements. Dr. Kordisch provides comprehensive healthcare services for women including wellness screenings, family planning and his office is equipped with both 3D and 4D ultrasound technologies. He also offers the most advanced gynecological options for women including laparoscopic hysterectomies and many other minimally invasive surgical procedures. Dr. Kordisch began working with us here at Centex Studies in 2016. His research experience now includes things like Uterine Fibroids and Endometriosis. In his spare time, he enjoys hobbies such as fishing, boxing and martial arts.
Dr. Josh Whatley is a Primary Care Physician located in the Lake Charles area. Dr. Whatley received his Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University A&M in Nutritional Sciences. From there, he went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from LSU Health Science Center where he also completed his Residency. Dr. Whatley is currently working with the physician group Primary Physician Care, LLC and Lake Area Medical Center. He began working with us here at Centex Studies in 2016. His research experience now includes things like Osteoarthritis, Low Back Pain, Type 2 Diabetes, COPD, Low Testosterone and much more. Dr. Whatley is very devoted family man and it really shows through in the pride he takes in his work and his patients. He is very friendly and knowledgeable, works well with all of our patients and he hardly ever takes days off so he is always someone we know we can count on. These last few months have been great getting to know Dr. Whatley and him getting to know us and our patients. We can’t wait to see where the years will bring us.
Dr. Carl Nabours is a Primary Care Physician located in the Lake Charles area. Dr. Nabours received his Bachelor’s degree from McNeese State University and then went on to LSU Medical Center to earn his Doctor of Medicine with a Family Practice specialty. From there, he completed his residency at Moss Regional Hospital in Lake Charles. Dr. Nabours is currently working with Lake Charles Family Physicians and is a member on the board. He started working with us here at Centex Studies in 2012. His research experience now includes things like High Cholesterol, Low Back Pain, Type 2 Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Flu, Opioid Induced Constipation, Rheumatoid Arthritis, A-Fib and much more. All of our patients like working with Dr. Nabours. He really tries his best to ease any fears patients have and always answers all their questions to the best of his ability. These last 5 years with Dr. Nabours has been a great learning experience for all of us and we look forward to continuing learning and growing together.
Kelsey started with us at Centex Studies in October of 2016. Before joining us, she attended South Louisiana Community College in Lafayette where she received her Associates degree in General Studies. From there she went on to work at Lake Area Medical Center, where she performed multiple clerical duties, such as patient demographics, collecting payments, complying with HIPPA regulations and much more. She is currently attending McNeese University pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
Kelsey is currently located at our Lake Charles location where she is the front desk receptionist. Her responsibilities include things like checking in patients, confirming appointments, approving patient stipends, patient demographics, some recruiting, and much more. She currently does not have any research experience, but she is certified in Good Clinical Practice.
Kelsey’s hobbies include spending time with her family and her three dogs. Her best asset is that she is a hard worker and she loves to learn. She always tries to add value to everything she does.
